I applied online. I interviewed at Zones (New York, NY) in Dec 2016
Interview
I was contacted by company recruiter 1 month after I submitted my resume. First I had a phone screening interview with the recruiter, easy questions. Then I was scheduled to have a phone interview with the hiring manager. The next step was to WebEx interview with the SVP. On the interview day, I was the first to log in to the WebEx meeting room, waited for 30 minutes and the SVP did not show up. I called the recruiter. They rescheduled a phone interview instead of WebEx since obviously something is messed up with the WebEx. On the phone interview day, the SVP did NOT call. I called the recruiter and was told that she was dragged into an emergency meeting. Later the recruiter sent an email saying that the SVP decided to recruit internally for this position. Overall impression on this company is negative, even though the recruiter was very easygoing, flexible and helpful with setting up& testing WebEx. It seems the company is badly organized and dealing with a lot of chaos.
Coincidentally, days later, 2 of my email accounts got temporarily suspended because somebody was using my account sending a lot of junk messages.

Question 1
How do you deal with an external team that has conflicts with your priorities?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zones (London, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
Straight forward enough. All interviews were conducted remotely with the US staff. There wasn’t any contact with the UK team during the interview process which didn’t seem right. It was a more personable experience than hard corporate interview style.

Smooth process. HR was very clear and straightforward. HR representation was very helpful in guiding the steps. They considered employee's availability and comfort while scheduling interview and were fine with video call. Hiring process was not complicated.
