AI Code Assurance Engineer / LLM Code Review Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical engineer to evaluate, validate, and improve code generated by AI systems (e.g., large language models like ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot). This role focuses on ensuring AI-generated code is accurate, secure, efficient, and production-ready before deployment.

Core Responsibilities

· Analyze and review code generated by AI/LLM tools for:

o Functional correctness

o Logical soundness

o Performance efficiency

o Security vulnerabilities

· Identify hallucinations or incorrect assumptions in AI-generated code

· Validate outputs against requirements, specifications, and business logic

· Perform deep code audits and provide remediation recommendations

· Refactor AI-generated code to meet production standards

· Develop testing strategies (unit, integration, edge-case validation) for AI outputs

· Evaluate consistency and reliability across repeated AI prompts

· Provide structured feedback to improve prompt engineering and AI model usage

· Document patterns of failure, risk areas, and improvement opportunities

Required Qualifications

· Strong experience with code review and debugging (5+ years preferred)

· Proficiency in at least one major language:

· Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#

· Deep understanding of:

· Software architecture and design patterns

· Secure coding (OWASP, common vulnerabilities)

· Code quality and maintainability

· Experience with:

· Static analysis tools (SonarQube, Checkmarx, etc.)

· Testing frameworks and validation methodologies

Highly Preferred

Experience using or evaluating:

· GitHub Copilot

· ChatGPT or other LLMs

· AI-assisted development workflows

Knowledge of:

· Prompt engineering

· LLM behavior and limitations

· DevSecOps pipelines

Background in:

· Application Security (AppSec)

· SDET / QA Automation

· Code auditing or compliance environments

Key Skills

· Critical thinking & skepticism of AI outputs

· Ability to spot non-obvious bugs or unsafe patterns

· Strong code auditing mindset

· Pattern recognition (identifying repeat AI errors)

· Technical communication

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $120,000 - $190,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)

Pay: $120,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
