-Employees are nice
-Laid back atmosphere
-Sometimes they provide free lunch and it is usually really good
-Very flexible with work hours
-Recent layoffs have demoralized the workforce
-Feedback on job performance is basically non existent
-Constant problems with software platform which disrupts work
Advice to Management
If you want to cut costs, consider outsourcing the programming work overseas.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FGI Risk (New York, NY) in January 2011.
I gave my introduction at the career fair. Then I had a phone interview. Then second round was a 1:1 interview at the company location. I found the company location good. It had a feel of a small company.
