I have been working at NETGEAR full-time (Less than a year)
I was a little concern with taking the job at Netgeat at first because of all the other reviews on Glassdoor. Well I took the leap anyways and I am very happy I did. All the people I have met and interacted with at work has been pleasant so far. The people are very bright at Netgear and hardworking. Yes some do have a lot on their plate but they are willing to help. I have been part of large companies before such as Cisco Systems, but by far Netgear is the best for their culture. Netgear may not be for everyone but I do see a lot of long time Netgear people here who have been with Netgear 10+ years. The company is big but small enough where you can make an impact. You get to know a lot of the people you interact with they are very accessible.

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at NETGEAR (San Jose, CA) in March 2016.
Phone interview by hiring manager, followed by coding assignment and 3 hour onsite interview.
Architecture, Scalability, Fault Tolerance, Rest Ful Api were covered. Director of engineering, Sr. Manager and a team member conducted interview
