Mission: ROSS Companies’ most valuable asset is our team members. Through their efforts, we acquire, develop, re-invent and manage multifamily communities in the Washington, DC metro area which creates a quality living experience for our residents and value for our clients.
I worked at ROSS Companies full-time (Less than a year)
Lots of paid holidays; weekend hours were paid for 8 hours even on Sundays, which is very rare; great recognition events held yearly and monthly incentives based on community performance; bonus structure is great; great work/life balance; yearly increases and incentives when you are tenured with the company
Unless it's changed, no renewal commission paid; with the exception of a select few properties many are not Class-A so you don't get that experience; properties are bought and sold quite often meaning you bounce around a lot; same boring structure for training classes that are held annually; not nationwide yet
Advice to Management
Unless you have a great relationship with the executive team, there is no real liaison between the on-site team and the corporate office and I think a lot of times the corporate office forgets what it's like being on-site and all that comes with it. Every company has it's pros and cons, but overall Ross is a good company
I applied through other source. The process took a week. I interviewed at ROSS Companies.
Very easy the process only took a week. Applied online via Indeed. A few days later the manager called me for a interview. The next day HR gave me a offer and 24 hours to submit a drub test.
