I have been working at Ritchie Bros. full-time (More than a year)
Pros
This is a great company to work for. I didn't do a review in the beginning as you don't typically see the 'real deal' until you have been working in a place for a while.
I've worked for many top employers and companies perceived as great places to work, but I love it here. Everyone I deal with works hard and is engaged and goal driven. the staff are rewarded and recognised, our CEO and leaders hold regular town halls and seem to genuinely want feedback. This is a fast moving company and I've already felt like I've made an impact in a short period since I've worked here ( almost a year)
There are great opportunties to move up. Employee benefits are great and company paid, lots of perks, transparent culture ( in my department anyway) and down to earth leadership. People are kind and there are lots of charitable events and causes you can be involved in at work.
Great office with onsite childcare, free well equipped gym and cafe and free parking.
Cons
The company is growing so fast that some people may feel left behind in that growth. You probably cant get away with coasting . with recent acquisitions there has been added workload coming in quicker than we hire and train new people.
Not easily transit accessible.
As with any large global company there will always be some bureacracy but I think they do a good job of keeping it to a minimum. One of the best places I've worked, which is high praise coming from me.
Advice to Management
Keep listening to your employees and being open and transparent.
A shuttle bus might allieviate some of the hiring challenges re transit.
Give your staff time to breathe occasionally.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ritchie Bros. (Pleasanton, CA) in March 2018.
Interview
Submitted resume online, was contacted within a day for a phone interview with a Recruiter. On-site interview followed a week and a half later. Offer letter sent to me the following day.
