The Insider – A Behind-the-Scenes Look Into Life and Work at eVestment
Since I started working at eVestment in 2012, it was clear this place was different. eVestment stands out by the way people here think big and push themselves to meet goals that most would describe as unthinkable. But it also stands out in other ways that continue to impress me. From the perks like weekly team lunches and uncapped PTO to the way each associate’s ideas are truly valued, considered and in many cases implemented, it is understandable how a place like this earns top workplace awards year after year. I mean, where else can you sit down on a random Thursday and watch the World Cup with 150 of your friends on the big screen? Play in a three-on-three all-star tournament in the parking lot? Or conceive, design and develop a new software feature in 24 hours?

I have been working at eVestment full-time
Evestment is a unique company where you are challenged yet have the opportunity to work with great people to solve those challenges. Our team is always open to new ideas and looking at how we can improve to better serve our clients.
Things move quickly so you have to pay attention to keep up. If you don’t enjoy a fast paced environment, it could be a challenge.
Advice to Management

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at eVestment (Atlanta, GA) in August 2017.
My interview and onboarding experiences with eVestment were some of the best I've had to date. The recruiter was friendly, punctual, quick to respond, and easy to work with.
I was moved through the process very quickly - only one week from initial phone screen to offer.
The in-person interview was about three hours long consisting of several short interviews with a variety of eVestment employees. All of the interviewers were friendly and prepared. The types of questions varied from person to person, but it was a pretty even mix between behavioral and skill based.
Every person I talked to in the process represented eVestment in a way that made me excited to join the company. They were positive, articulate, and obviously enjoyed their jobs. It made the experience way more pleasant and surprisingly less stressful than an average interview process.
