Description The Uno® story begins in Chicago in 1943 when Ike Sewell developed deep dish pizza and opened a new type of restaurant at the corner of Ohio & Wabash. The original restaurant still exists today. UNO's just celebrated its 75th birthday and is recognized as the undisputed inventor of deep dish pizza.
Today there are over 100 UNO Pizzeria & Grill restaurants (both Franchise and Company Owned) located in 20 states, the District of Columbia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, India, Honduras, and Saudi Arabia.
