Hunt Construction Group, An AECOM Company, was founded in 1944 in Indianapolis by Paul Hunt, Arber Huber and Harry Nichols as a privately-held organization. It was known as Huber, Hunt & Nichols at that time. Through the years, the company’s guiding principles have been passed down through three generations of Hunts.
Today, Hunt is a part of AECOM’s Building Construction division which is ranked 7th among Construction Management/General Contracting firms by Engineering News-Record. With offices nationwide, Hunt maintains a volume between $6 billion and $8 billion of work under contract nationally in a dozen different industries.
In July 2014, Hunt merged with AECOM, a fully integrated infrastructure and support services firm. As a wholly owned subsidiary of AECOM, Hunt benefits from being a part of a truly innovative organization that consists of more than 100,000 employees — serving clients in more than 150 countries around the world.
