I have been working at 3Sharp full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great group of extremely talented people with a wide array of skills and experience. Senior leadership is approachable, transparent, and values the people getting the job done in the trenches. In general, good work/life balance though there are crunches from time to time. Good time and opportunities to advance as the company continues to grow, and management prefers to promote from within. Lots of perks to make your day better or help reduce stress during crunch times. Not all business ... the company actively makes time to have fun together.

    Cons

No workplace is perfect ... your mileage may vary.

    Advice to Management

Continue to lead with heart, integrity, and passion ... we will follow!

    I have been working at 3Sharp full-time

    Pros

The company is always looking to grow and is hungry for new business and leads.
3Sharp has the flexibility to meet the needs of their customers within a very short timeline.

    Cons

Emotions run high when projects are underway.
Some people who has been promoted to management are too involved with the day to day work to focus on good employee management.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on managing employees than managing the work as that is what your employees are for.

I have been working at 3Sharp full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

One of the best reasons to work at 3Sharp is the people. It's a talented group who are engaged and dedicated to excellence, in terms of customer service, quality, and employee happiness. There is a high degree of transparency and authenticity, which is very much appreciated. The people genuinely care for one another and balance the rigors of work with a "pull together" mentality. The work itself is varied and challenging as well, in terms of both complexity and creativity, which is another plus.

    Cons

The only real downside is the variable services market. 3Sharp has been challenged over the years in maintaining a consistent pipeline of new work (and new customers). There seems to have been some improvement in recent years, but it seems that maintaining a solid sales pipeline continues to be 3Sharp's biggest challenge.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in sales and marketing initiatives to support and fund this great company.

I have been working at 3Sharp full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Real respect for staff from co-workers to upper management
The whole company runs like a team where you want everyone to succeed.
Very transparent management with profit sharing means everyone feels involved in working hard for success.
Better work environment that some more famous tech companies.

    Cons

Lots of work, not a lot of free time. But they plan for events and have good vacation benefits.

    Advice to Management

Budget for employee development during slower seasons.

I have been working at 3Sharp full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

When I applied at 3Sharp, I was determined not to settle for anything short of my dream job, and I got it. I routinely get to work on teams with smart, dedicated, generous contributors and achieve results I can be proud of. We're ambitious and always learning new things. The company honors my work/life boundaries. We celebrate each other as people as well as co-workers. Also, 3Sharp has a well-stocked kitchen. :)

    Cons

The company is growing rapidly, and this is always hard. Every day brings a new challenge, and there are some frustrations. But leadership has a will to tackle these challenges with open eyes and over come them.

    Advice to Management

Keep your eyes open and don't be afraid of change!

I have been working at 3Sharp full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I'm always learning. If there is one thing I know about the kind of work that we have here at 3Sharp is that it will be challenging and I'll learn something along the way.

Very inclusive environment and people. We come from different walks of life but we all rally around our love of technology and producing world class demos.

We've all got each others backs and seem to find a good balance of working hard while still maintaining a healthy work / life balance.

    Cons

There isn't enough parking spaces for everyone unfortunately but, we rotate passes and take turns sharing the parking spaces.

I have been working at 3Sharp full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

As others have said, I really appreciate the transparency of the leadership at 3Sharp, it really helps me feel like I am part of a family. The people that work at 3Sharp are brilliant, funny, passionate, and supportive of their colleagues. The work itself is challenging and interesting and the work culture is generally wonderful.

    Cons

Parking is a problem, but it isn't really 3Sharp's fault, it is a city wide issue.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! And as we face new challenges and directions, keep inviting us to share our input into the process and direction of our company.

I have been working at 3Sharp full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great family feel - can get to know everyone if you want and attitude is positive. This is something that was missing working for a big company as just being a number among many. Transparency of the company and its direction is definite real plus. Profit sharing!

    Cons

Juggling the daily tasks/projects to fill your day ( as was stated before ) gets to be a real challenge. In the juggle your focus on projects takes finesse that I've not encountered in prior jobs.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!
