Management solely focused on patient throughput and no concern for employee growth
    Poor morale

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Great place to work, fine tuned staff, excellent inter-department relations and work environment.

    Cons

Quest purchased company, outsourced. Changed pay structure, hourly fr salary, kept same pay, had to punch clock...got OT, but couldn't mirror hours of Executive effectively or leave when office was a ghost town, still 24 hour calls though.

    Advice to Management

EXECUTIVE Assistants should be salary. Hours mirror that of their Executives often/24 hour on call.

I worked at AmeriPath full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent place to work. People were generally nice. Atmosphere was laid back but that seems more of luck of the draw and not a corporate culture thing.

    Cons

Little supervision meant things were generally disorganized unless the employees took extra time to make sure things went right, but when things went wrong they also bore the brunt of the blame.

    Advice to Management

They should make sure that they stop overlooking this department and put some thought into investing in a manager who cares about his job.
