I have been working at Americas Best Value Inn full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I honest could not think of any pros at all.

    Cons

Have to work holidays. Told me I would be working 40 hours. No where near am I or the other staff getting 40 hours. Management doesn’t seem to care for the staff. Works 3-4 hours a days. Assistant GM is never at the property. Her kids are always running around. Owner is never there either. Horrible company’s to work for.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the smoking rooms or should I say pot rooms. Get rid of the welfare people you have. Stop charging $300.00 a night. Your not a 5 start hotel. You’re a one maybe a 2 star motel. Get a better breakfast. Benefits are a joke. Don’t offer sick or personal days! It’s a joke. They rather hire family so it’s kept in the family! It’s all a big joke!

I worked at Americas Best Value Inn part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are no reasons to work here.

    Cons

The manager is racist. She involves her personal life with her work life. She fired me because I’m 8 months pregnant & had health problems, & i couldn’t come one day because of my health problems, but i never missed a way working there since i started , so she terminated me for not coming one day cause she wanted to go to New Orleans and visit her parents , she have a bad attitude, she pretend to like & understand her employees but she really can careless . She is very unprofessional. When there are problems, she leaves the coworkers there by theirselves to handle them. She never in her office when you need her. I wouldn’t recommend nobody to work there nor stay there because they are a dirty hotel.

    Advice to Management

    Stop being a racist.
