    Pros

Great products and leads the field in innovation. Never a shortage of new products to sell. Also have great educational services for both sales reps and physicians.

    Cons

No benefits. 1099 with great pay, but it would be nice to have health insurance and 401k. Everything is payed for by rep with no reimbursement.

    Pros

    Good benefits, great owner

    Cons

Managers who lie and use employees to cover their lack of knowledge. Fake people who use others to move up. Owner needs to be more involved with employees of all levels of the company not just management, the values he started the company on and preaches about have disappeared and he does not see it because it is hidden from him.

    Advice to Management

HR your managers are not always the truthful people ,they lie to cause trouble for employees to cover themselves, support the non management

    Pros

Benefits ....free medical and dental, doctor on site, free hot lunch, free gym membership, every 5 years free vacation. Decent pay with annual and holiday bonuses

    Cons

When you are treated like family you have nothing to complain about. The only thing I wish I could change is working for them sooner

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

    Pros

Growth, loyalty, being part of something great, good benefits

    Cons

Fast growth can be very challenging and too many new hires.

    Advice to Management

Slow down hiring. The price paid for hiring the wrong people will be in the long term.

    Pros

Great technology, best orthopedic products on the market

    Cons

Limit reps to making a certain amount of money and won't let them get above that. Once quotas are achieved, either territories get smaller, or they take away % to what they sell.

    Advice to Management

Show loyalty and pay your reps! They are the ones making all that money so the distributor can live his lavish lifestyle

I have been working at Arthrex full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Innovative products, nice buildings, free lunch and drinks, free healthcare and sportive events.

    Cons

Many Managers and supervisors chosen lack professionalism and leadership skills. Company kept hiring at a fast rate and are now replacing everyone with consultants or young, cheap unexperienced staff.
Work surrounding: gilden cage, no appreciation of work, nepotism.
Degree of relationship to Top Management more important than achievements and work performance. It sometimes feels like being in a sect. No future for real professionals.

    Advice to Management

Commission rates far too low compared to other companies. Different generations of employees should work together, but by hiring non-stop this becomes difficult. High employee turnover.
Owner and founder does not seem to know what is happening inside his company.
High fluctuation of employees causes that experience leaving the company but nobody cares.
Cleaning the house but apparently without thinking. Start thinking!

I have been working at Arthrex full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Depending on how busy of the territory, plenty of free time to study new products/techniques when starting out.

Very rewarding intrinsically helping surgeons treat their patients.

    Fun/Interesting job

    Cons

Base pay is awful. Tons of busy work for newer employees on the teams. Have worked up to 14-16 hour days in busy season, your day isn't done until your accounts are ready for surgery the next day. Luck of the draw as to if you get put with a good team. Mostly hired from word of mouth/family and friends etc. Benefits are terrible with the distributorship I'm with.

    Advice to Management

Be more involved with your new hires and help train them more effectively. The whole "sink or swim" mentality is a terrible way to treat and train new hires.
