Directors who care about you!

I've worked for this company for several years but had to leave this year. I always knew who the directors/owners were and they were always nice and approachable, but during COVID I really saw how involved they were and how much they cared about us. Marla and Mo were involved, helpful and understanding during such a scary time. I am grateful for that. My safety was a priority. I also really appreciated the supervisors who would come to see me each month and provide additional support and feedback.
Cons
The driving is not fun, especially in LA, but they try to keep you in one area if possible. They always try to give you fill ins if your client cancels, which is helpful when you are trying to pay rent.

Pros
I have worked at Autism Behavior Intervention (ABI) for years and only have amazing things to say about this company! I started as an under graduate and feel in love with the field! While working at ABI, I was mentored by amazing clinical supervisors as well as the clinical director, which led me to pursuing my masters degree in the field. ABI works closely with several masters programs, so if you are looking to advance your career, ABI is the place to be!
Cons
I only have great things to say about ABI! We would love you to join our team!

Cons
Hourly pay, physically demanding, heavy commuting

Pros
SOME great staff and awesome clients.
Cons
They do not give you annual raises like they say they will. As a Lead RBT, I was only making a few cents more than someone who was just HIRED. The lady in charge of scheduling unfairly uses employees' sick or vacation hours, and isn't friendly.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your review and feedback! With regard to annual raises, we definitely fell behind on our annual performance evaluations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but have now caught up. In terms of unfairly using sick or vacation hours, our goal is always to be fair to all of our employees. We have standard procedures for paid time off and sick leave and follow these procedures with all of our employees. We would love to better understand your experience and would welcome the opportunity to talk to you about this. Thank you again for taking the time to provide your review!
