Great people, great income, great product (with an even better one coming soon!)

      Pros

Having spent my entire career in the Auto Industry vertical both at a dealership level and the vendor side, there are many positives Autosoft offers specific to this industry: - Incredible work life balance: WFH (even before COVID) and a culture of do what it takes to get a job done as opposed to clock in for x amount of hours. - Excellent benefits for the Industry: 401k Match. Employer paid healthcare. Above industry PTO. A health rewards program that actually pays $$. - Great Comp Plan: if you are looking at a sales role the base/variable plans are very competitive. Naturally in sales the more you succeed the more you make and Autosoft maximizes this while securing their reps with an above industry standard base. -Excellent Management: The regional sales director, who has been at Autosoft for 4.5 years, is constantly looking for ways to help you succeed. There is no micromanagement or manipulative sales management style.

      Cons

A few areas of improvement from a single contributor sales prospective being at Autosoft for just under 2 years: - At times the company can overcomplicate things. Whether it be data entry in the CRM, how to go about launching a new module in the product suite, or overall organizational structure. Sometimes less can be more. - Market driven product value: While Autosoft has a rock solid DMS platform there are aspects of the system’s UI that are antiquated. In competitive situations it is harder to charge the same (and sometimes more) than competitors that offer a more modern UI. Sometimes it seems that the departments outside of Sales are unaware of this.

Combing through reviews is key here…

      Pros

The company could have a lot of potential is you remove some of the “key” execs.

      Cons

…just about everything else. Good people are literally chased out the door. There is zero appreciation of the employees from the CEO. The CEO does not trust anyone therefore, he micromanages through middle management and spends his days listening to phone calls and reading people’s messages to “catch people” as opposed to focusing on the release of a new product that has been promised for 8+ years, and still has no formal release date. He also doesn’t want anyone else’s input because his is far superior and nothing is ever good enough. Not to mention, there is hardly any room for growth within the company. They ramp up gifts and “swag” when things like “Best Places To Work…” voting time approaches and reach out to employees that they feel they could bully that would leave favorable reviews (usually out of fear of speaking the truth) to sway them to say something positive on glassdoor to balance out the negative (and true) comments. If you’re considering applying for a position here, ask about the turnover rates. Shocking is an understatement.

Wanted to be part of something great!

      Pros

The best part of my job was my direct supervisor. He had the respect of his team and we all drove success. I loved the people I worked with.

      Cons

The CEO doesn't trust his management team to get the job done. Promises were made to dealers that weren't kept with new product. From the entire HR team quiting to top leadership, I would run to a new company.

      No appreciation, silent owner

      Pros

The work is satisfying. Most of the people there are great.

      Cons

The veteran employees, including managers are bringing the scene down. They are complacent and stagnant. They have no passion. The newer employees would love to drive change, but pushback from those stuck in their ways is hard to overcome. There is no reward for good work. Two years and only one small raise that not everybody received. Barely a cost of living increase. So many of us had vacation time cut by new policies. And taking time off is not easily done. We all went to WFH and had costs because of it. In the office we had two computer screens given to us. We were expected to do the same work on one small laptop screen. We have all adapted and overcome, you could even say excelled; but no reward from management.

Started out drinking the kool-aid, but now it's a dumpster fire.

      Pros

The best thing about the company is the people that work there.

      Cons

Literally everything now. The culture used to be a big draw - but they've cut that down and out. The CEO has sucked the life and fun out of everyone. He hires managers and directors who would be great, but he treats them like minions and tries to micromanage everything they do. Turnover is through the roof, but nobody sees that as an internal problem. Don't buy into the hype of old reviews, that is not the company it is today. When you interview, ask how long that person and their boss have been with the company.

      Pros

I worked at Autosoft from 2017-2019 and it was a great place. Sure, there are many ups and downs and it can be difficult. However, the pros outweighed the cons.

      Cons

      High turnover, can be stressful

      Pros

They do try to give employees a clean fun place to work. The dms iis still a viable competitor in the market, but should maintain skillef employees.

      Cons

Muddle management smothers productivity with over zealous self importance of having to be in control.
