Pros

World-class lifestyle benefit - 14 days of complimentary stays at BG properties worldwide. Hybrid and flexible remote culture. Generous quarterly bonus pay if you hit your targets. The core product is solid which helps streamline the sales process. The high volume of deals closed every year allows you to heavily practice and sharpen your closing skills. Highly talented & approachable colleagues and managers.

Cons

Product and portfolio shifts: Strategic shifts, like introducing partner network units, make the sales process more complicated. Additionally, due to ongoing portfolio restructuring, dealing with frequent property drops is not pleasant to manage. Base pay and raises: Base salaries could be higher. When salary increases are percentage-based, starting from a lower baseline means the actual bump isn't that impactful. Career Progression: Over the past 3-4 years, opportunities to transition into leadership or management positions have been limited and slow to come by.

Pros

Nice colleagues Apartments in great cities Not much else

Cons

A sales culture lacking motivation, with strategy changes occurring weekly, has led to a high turnover rate and a lack of buy-in from colleagues. Gaslighting and toxic old school type of leadership. Had a really bad experience at this company Before I left, it took people quitting to secure a counteroffer or a raise. This is not the right course of action, and you’ve already lost your talent as other offers are accepted.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad the people and our properties were a positive part of your experience. We're sorry to hear your time with us was difficult. We take concerns around leadership and culture seriously, and feedback like this is not dismissed. We do want to respectfully note that voluntary attrition across the organization does not reflect the picture described here, and we believe the experience of the broader team is more positive than this review suggests. That said, we recognize that individual experiences matter and that every departure is worth understanding. We wish you well and thank you for the feedback. Best Regards, The Team Blueground
