I worked at CEVA Logistics full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good company to work for, all the new technology you need is there. Cool managers and people

    Cons

Benefits are so so...not much guided towards employees. Corporate always looks out for their cost.

    Advice to Management

    Keep on selling the services

    Pros

Employees at some locations have a great camaraderie. Most of the senior management staff are easy to talk to. There are different medical benefit packages offered based on a person's need.

    Cons

A portion of the mid level management team are not skilled in developing people, communication and transparency. Some departments are siloed causing mis-communication downstream. The pay scale for some positions are not competitive when living in a more expensive city.

    Advice to Management

I would suggest in developing managers on how to manage people and weed out the ones who lack integrity

I worked at CEVA Logistics part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some people are nice, random off days, decent pay if you’re not warehouse

    Cons

Work environment, work load, they penalize you for getting overtime but you can’t leave until warehouse finishes which gives you overtime

    Advice to Management

Make the warehouse more efficient and the overtime issue will go away

I worked at CEVA Logistics full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They have a decent 401k and reasonably good PTO.

    Cons

If you are an hourly employee, management calls you a "desk person." Do not expect anyone higher than a vice president to answer your e-mails. They will cheat you out of overtime and also PTO when you leave. These people are the worst of the worst. You can work yourself until you're completely stressed out and fighting with your co-workers, and at the end of the day, management doesn't care. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT work at CEVA.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management is to stop treating your hourly employees like trash. My station had at least a 50% turnover in the 5 years I was there. The people that leave are not replaced. The people that are there are doing twice the work for a whopping 2% merit increase. Do something good for your most valuable assets, your employees.

I worked at CEVA Logistics full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Decent pay scale for industry, good benefits

    Cons

When I was there they had State-of-the-Art software (circa 1970's!)
A few of the managers were brilliant, most were meh...some petty and mean

    Advice to Management

Do some "UnderCover Boss" type capers to find out what the front-line, desk level employees have to live with and find ways to improve the lot of the people who actually do the work that makes you money.

I have been working at CEVA Logistics full-time

    Pros

Good pay, though it is pay for the amount of work that is done

    Cons

The management is not familiar with the work that is being done at the workplace which just makes you question the whole thing...
    Very Strict...

    Advice to Management

Increase wages with ratio of new skills/positions learned etc...
Also, expedite the hiring process (sometimes it takes more than three months to be officially hired)
