Great Job, however...
Feb 2, 2023 - Truck Driver in Portland, ORRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great pay and amazing 4 week vacation policy to start. More vacation at 5 years and ten years. Caps at around 7 weeks vacation a year.
Cons
Not really a con if you're a realist. It's your managers that are the problem. So long as you realize that they are only going to look out for themselves and their priorities...you'll be fine. The enthusiastic do-gooder that I used to be has corroded away after many promises have been broken and after simple safety precautions have been ignored. Pay attention to those severe weather warnings people! Your managers will pretend to have no knowledge, or will guilt you into going out regardless.

Pros
You will find out what you are really capable of, you will be challenged in ways you were not trained for, it is apart of the transportation industry. You will however, learn to think outside the norm.
Cons
You will face opposition....you must be able to operate in a form of chaos.

So many things I can say but I will share with what has impacted me the most in the tenure I have been here at CEVA Logistics. 1. Culture - Culture was a big factor for me in my next role. CEVA has exceeded my expectations, I work with an amazing team and empowering leadership 2. Team - The mindset here at CEVA has been pushing toward a team oriented culture. We want to work collaborative across every team here at CEVA. 3. Inclusion - Career growth is very important and in the past 2 years, there have been touch points of career growth and skill growth. That has been key in my success here at CEVA.
Cons
None at the moment, everything is a work in progress. I can tell CEVA is working hard in evaluating any weak points across the board and making it better.

Pros
Fun people to work with. Longevity is strong possibility at Ceva.
Cons
Really no cons, like all jobs have highs and low's. What you put in you get out. If there is no freight they will do there best so that everybody can eat. Try to get a dedicated customer to help get thru tougher times.

May 26, 2023 - Class A Truck Driver in Mount Juliet, TNRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Decent co-workers, good health insurance benefits and 401(k).
Cons
Poor management, very disorganized, over half of their trucks are in dire need of service, no one at dispatch cares about you, no direct deposit, and they take too long to mail your paycheck upon request.

Depends on the Structure
Mar 21, 2023 - Assistant General Manager in Chicago, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
CMA CGM puts their money where their mouth is, when they want. "Exceptional" bonus was given to all hourly and salary associates with 10% bonus or less. Very competitive PTO structure for both hourly and salary
Cons
Very lacking in terms of situational structure. All situations seem to be up for interpretation of HR and different levels of management when they want to take action (deserved or not). HR and executives are known for dragging their feet on promotions, which destroys morale and puts site management between a rock and hard place (do right by the associates versus getting road blocked by HR/execs) - then other times, very questionable promotions have happened extremely quickly and without delay. This is all very frustrating as a site manager like I was.
