    Pros

    Cons

I don't have cons to report as when you are supported both financially and brought in as considered a family member, you don't have bad things to say

    Advice to Management

To continue the support and structure to ensure the superior patient care continues

I have been working at CareOne full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great in house staff, beautiful facility, great benefits.

    Cons

Management removes positions then gives workloads to other positions who already have their own heavy workload. Since they remove positions it leaves no room for advancement.

    Advice to Management

Stop removing vital Positions. Workers who love working there will remain if there was places to move up in.

The menial pay for the lower positions are ridiculous but if we knew there was a way to move up both in career and pay you'd have more happy employees! Happy employees help keep happy residents.

I have been working at CareOne full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

few dollar more pay from regular hospital

    Cons

management does not care. NO professional grow, toxic environment, under-staffing. high turn over, unsafe practice, Bullying,Poor Communication,
No Trust, Disorganisation and Indecision, Discourtesy,Politics and Inequity,Avoidance, Lying

    Advice to Management

It is really depressing, how many awful management practices are in use out there, but good job for those getting big bonus or incentive at the end of the year. Maybe the front line employees can share some of the incentive as well?

I have been working at CareOne full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

In building management & administration tried so they got rid of them or forced them out.
Benefits are ok, though they try not to let you sign up.
Karma caught up almost all upper management was let go recently so there is no stability.

    Cons

Corporate could care less about their Western MA buildings letting them get run down.
    They lie to area hospitals.
They do nothing to attract & maitain competent staff.
They run the buildings on agency.
No recognition for nursing home week or nurses week by corperate.
Theyll replace you without warning or ever giving you any job perfomance feedback what so ever.
Work life balance they advertise is a joke. If you salary plan on 60 hour work weeks.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees well and theyll take care of you. That way you can sell the buildings you clearly care nothing about.

I have been working at CareOne part-time

    Pros

You learn alot. You will be able to handle working anywhere after working there.

    Cons

Always undersfaffed and even when fully staffed the work load is still too much. A 8 hour shift can easily turn into 12 hour just by trying to get done with all that you have to do.

    Advice to Management

Need to be better staffed for that kind of acuity.

I worked at CareOne full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great nursing staff. Hard workers.

    Cons

Upper management staff are racists and play favoritism. They treat people with color as if they were less than human. They don't know how to communicate with their staff. They are very judgmental and unprofessional. Management staff do not know how to separate work from friendship. They create a toxic and stressful environment for staff. Run!!! Just run as far as possible!!!

    Advice to Management

Treat people equally. People are all EQUAL regardless of where they come from or the color of their skin.
