    Pros

The people here are amazing! Everyone is unique, funny, and very knowledgable in their field. Flex time is an awesome option where you can work remotely if that is how you work best - exact arrangement is determined by you and your manager. 3 weeks PTO right off the bat is pretty good. The work is challenging but interesting. A lot is expected of you, but you also have a lot of freedom and very little micromanaging. Very high profile clients.

    Cons

ChaiOne is a relatively new company (8 years old) working on very large and high profile clients. The processes haven't kept up with the huge growth, and things can get disorganized and messy sometimes. However, in the past 6 or so months management has really shifted their focus to try and fix this.

I worked at ChaiOne full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great smart people in UX and Dev.
Energetic, great employee body. People work well together.

    Cons

    Management leadership is lacking.
Management Egos is through the roof.
Cheap, cheap, cheap. Read about the CEO's 3 before 1 ideology.

    Advice to Management

Look for growth opportunities, not just where the short term gains are.

I worked at ChaiOne full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Ability to wear several hats and grow as a developer often with little red tape. You own the project and make critical decisions about it daily. Fellow employee are also great and hard working. Ability to work with top notch designers.

    Cons

Project mismanagement is number one here. Not sure if it's the clients or project managers (I suspect mostly the former), but things easily turn into chaos sometimes. Many of the best people have left recently within the last year for better opportunities. Dev work has in the past been isolating.

    Advice to Management

Development team works far more efficiently when important decisions aren't made behind their back.

    Pros

Great job for a jack of all trades that looking to het their feet wet or experience on resume.

    Cons

No hr. Alot of rule breaking and corporate shenanigans. Most of development work was seemingly outsourced to overseas and required redoing or tons of effort and hours to correct.

    Advice to Management

Invest in american resources, even if they seem more expensive initially.

    Pros

Best team ever! Professional, smart, funny, friendly and very positive environment. Great projects, top level clients and very interesting design issues to solve. Here you always feel as an important part of the company and you are always being heard. You are always being encouraged to be innovative and bold, to challenge yourself and to bring the best of you in every project.

    Cons

Unfortunately most of the projects are under the non-disclosure agreements and it is not possible to include them in portfolio. But it is still a great experience and everyday learning process.
