I have been working at ChaiOne full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

ChaiOne allows you to be creative, have a voice, and be a true part of the company success. If you are someone that likes to push the envelope and challenge the norm, you will fit in perfectly.

    Cons

Like any company that works with Fortune 500 firms, not all projects are cool and fun. There are large multiyear digital programs that can be on the boring side if you don't see the forest for the trees.

I have been working at ChaiOne full-time

    Pros

-Coworkers are the best, funny, smart, and creative -you are able to take on a lot of responsibility and grow your role in ways that interest you -generally interesting projects

    Cons

-Fast paced and can sometimes be stressful when you have multiple projects ramping up at the same time -generally interesting/complex enterprise software work, but some of the development projects are long-running. not as much exposure to different projects as in a typical agency setting

    Advice to Management

know your strenghts, continue to value the employees that work hard and do amazing work.

I have been working at ChaiOne full-time

    Pros

Smart, talented, warm people pass through here. Some awesome co-workers and amazing events. It really can be a delightful place to work

    Cons

This was an organization I was really happy to join- and it USED to be a dynamic and seemingly growing agency. But without a functional upper management, people have been pouring out of here and (some of) the people left behind are not experienced enough to manage. I have never seen attrition at an agency like I've seen here, and ChaiOne really attracts some amazing talent. It just cannot keep it for more than a year...

I worked at ChaiOne full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Great culture and working environment - Extremely smart and passionate staff - Team Leads are supportive, caring, and helpful - Good starting point for an entry level position - Interesting and diverse projects - Unlimited sick time - Flexible work schedule

    Cons

    - Company lacks strategy and seems confused about the services they offer - Hard work and self-sacrifice doesn’t get you ahead or promoted. You are in the business of making money for the company - Policies are put in place that benefit the company not employees, where HR/Finance are stuck enforcing these unfavorable policies - Basic expenses for client projects are often rejected, which come out of your pocket -...

I worked at ChaiOne full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great company culture, events and fun smart people

    Cons

HR/Finance is a JOKE! I've gone to them about expenses and it’s always “just the companies policy” Change things!

    Advice to Management

Rethink your policies and stop selling flowers when you know its actually cabbage! Stop showing preferential treatment to your favs!

I worked at ChaiOne full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good work life balance, generally good team spirit. Many projects included interesting work.

    Cons

Definitely felt all teams other than sales were shorted on salary. Senior management had serious issues across functions that we often had to try to resolve at a team level.

    Pros

You get to work with smart and talented people on projects that solve real problems.

    Cons

Management is weak and processes are flimsy. They oversell projects which set us up to underdeliver. The CEO is shady.

    Advice to Management

Be truthful and upfront with your employees. Being sneaky doesn't gain their trust. Hire managers who know what they are doing. Set realistic timelines and resource your projects properly.
