Extreme micromanagement is now the default setting here. Pay is below market, and workload is unreasonable due to constant layoffs and turnover. Not a good combination. “Flexible PTO” is a scam. They just don’t want to have to pay out your hours when they downsize your department to offshore your job. Poor advancement opportunity. I could go on, but I hope you’re getting the gist.

Including other engineers.. yikes. -unlimited PTO sounds great until they deny every request you put in, or they approve it while making you feel guilty for taking a day or two off. -they will gaslight you, shame you, embarrass you, overwork you, and basically emotionally wreck you in every way possible. I am not angry while writing my submission. This is the reality of what I felt daily at coretelligent. I wouldn’t even recommend this company to someone desperate for employment with no other options.
