    Pros

Great place to work! I would like to get hired on with this company to further my work with them.

    Cons

Would like to have more of a notice if the job is over or when the next scheduled work will take place.

    I worked at Corus360 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good margin. Some good technical staff. A true passion for technology at executive level.

    Cons

The territories they cover are completely over-saturated with too many account executives who sit on good accounts but never even try to penetrate them. Also, the technical staff are very slow to respond to requests often times causing deals to be lost.

    Advice to Management

You need to continually refresh territories to make accounts not being actively prospected available to sales reps who are hungry and willing! Also you will never grow by concentrating and relying on your top accounts to keep the doors open. Lastly, do not claim to care about your employees if you are not willing to go the extra mile to obtain them.

    Pros

They have a great location and some great people

    Cons

    1. Do not discuss ANY of your accounts in your cubical until you get your SalesForce login, otherwise someone will enter your customer as there customer. 2. They are NOT a Cisco Gold partner, even though they act like it because they didn't want to invest in becoming Gold because of the cost. 3. Their engineering group is a bunch of great guys if you are selling Cisco or Pure Storage. Anything else, you are rolling the dice. 4. The internal process from quoting a solution to the customer getting it installed is a nightmare. There are literally five to six separate steps and databases that have to be used for each and every deal. 5. Being the new sales rep means that you get the rookie inside sales rep that basically doesn't know anything, so you end up doing everything yourself. 6. Your comp plan that you signed isn't worth the paper it's printed on because they will change, modify or even lie to you in regards to its meaning. i.e. what's the difference between a non-recoverable draw and a recoverable draw... 7. Finally, for the first couple of months, get used to driving out to Norcross every other Friday afternoon for an all hands mandatory meeting from 4PM to 5:30PM.

    Advice to Management

Don't treat your new sales reps like second class citizens...I do like Steve Johnson and the rest of the executive staff, but it was very hard to get things done with a junior inside sales rep they dumped on me. I actually had a great inside rep when I started, but after one week, they gave me someone very green. I knew more about his job then he did and there were several other reps having the same issues, but Management didn't do anything. They even went as far as giving this individual an award at the Christmas party!!!Unbelievable...

    I have been working at Corus360 full-time

    Pros

The culture at Corus is amazing. I love coming to work, and I really enjoy the people I work with. The workforce is very smart and incredibly skilled. I like that the company is more stable than a startup, but more flexible/agile than a larger corporation.

    Cons

The training isn't great. There is a lot of "learn as you go." Some departments are rock solid while other departments are definitely not working very well. Unfortunately, some of the departments in the latter category critical to running the business.

    Advice to Management

Slow down sometimes. There are many times where the company brings on a bunch more people when they should be focusing on cultivating the talent they already have.

    I worked at Corus360 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great location, fun company events, great co workers, a lot of volunteer opportunities-really loved the giving back the company did-they made a HUGE impact in the Norcross community.

    Cons

Unfortunately there are more cons than there are pros! Horrible management, especially in the accounting department. Unless you are known by upper management or "specifically chosen" you will fail in this company. They give promotions and leadership awards out, that mean nothing! They pretend they are a "family" company, but as soon as they are done with you, they want you gone and will make your life miserable until you do leave. The review process is a joke-totally worthless. Also unless you are top management, you will not make any money. They love to treat back office staff as minions, with little compensation!

    Advice to Management

Actually listen to your employees and help them when they continuously ask for help and need assistance. Stop saying you are a "family" company because you are not and it does not make for a good environment. Treat your back office staff better, if you didn't have that support your company would not exist.

Great Support Team. They go above and beyond to make you feel like you are always part of a productive team.

    Cons

None to date but one can always improve on something ;)

    Advice to Management

Would like to see more communication on a more corporate level. Keep contractors involved with company updates.

    I worked at Corus360 full-time

    Pros

The pros of Corus360 are great life work balance, a lot of flexibility, great location and facility is very secure and cutting edge.

    Cons

There was serious lack in leadership, and not enough technical support. New leadership was coming in though, so hopefully it has improved.

    Advice to Management

Create a real training program for your sales team, not just a company overview training, have continued training and enhance leadership.

I have been working at Corus360 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Message from the top is clear, we care about you as a person. Giving back to community, helping a member of the company family when dealing with illness, etc. Provides the tools & resources needed for success. Inspiring & passionate management. If you are an experienced professional, Corus360 is an excellent company to do what you do well. Growing quickly means sometimes making mistakes. Top leadership is comfortable recognizing mistakes & taking responsibility to correct them. Positive environment with good natured jokes and internal competition.

    Cons

Not a 'Con', just a reality check:
If you are brand new to IT, Corus360 does not have a formal training program.
Some of the managers have too much on their plate.
If you need heavy structure & a process centered workplace, Corus360 is not the best place for you.

    Advice to Management

Be willing to let go of employees who are not up to the challenge. Growth comes with change. Some individuals who may have fit the needs of the company at $20million, do not fit the needs of the company at $200million.
