I worked at CyrusOne full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Working at CONE is like being part of a family, all rallying together around the cause. Some of my best work experiences in my entire career were at CONE.

    Cons

Massive growth and expansion, requiring long hours. Not for the faint hearted, but great for someone who loves to give it their all.

I worked at CyrusOne full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Great Medical and ESPP (Until they switched to every 6 months) - Good co-workers - Bonus was ok but still a bonus

    Cons

    - Low pay compared to other Data Center providers - Long hours, short deadlines, always being checked on metrics - Shifted too much between different DC's that made customers un-happy - Management only cared about sales people and people in HQ everyday.

    Pros

Salary, benefits (401k match and ESPP) and ability to grow and promote your career.

    Cons

Benefits have been reduced, remote employees don't always feel part of the family, although that is typical for a lot of companies. External and internal training provided.

I have been working at CyrusOne

    Pros

You get to eat the left overs from client entertainment

    Cons

Overworked and underpaid! No appreciation given to those that actually put in the work. Disgruntled miserable employees that choose to stay and make those around them miserable too. They do not get rid of the bad staff.....keep them around and make production go down like the titanic. The CEO main concentration is expense cuts.

Thank you for taking time to share this feedback with us, we are very sorry to hear this about your experience at CyrusOne. We would like to encourage you to discuss your concerns with your manager or contact our HR department so we can work together and find a solution. In our quarterly All-Employee calls our President and CEO, Gary Wojtaszek, give out his personal cell phone number if you ever have any questions or concerns. You have a huge support system behind you. Our intention is to make CyrusOne the best place you have ever worked. As you have seen in our Rules of the Road we look for Glass Half-full employees and value Respect in the workplace. We strive to pay our employees with competitive wages and offer a wonderful benefits package (Bonus, 401k, Employee Stock Purchase Plan with a 15\% discount, HSA and other medical benefit contributions, and a great PTO package.) It is true that we focused a lot on expense savings this year, but in doing so we achieved investment grade and every quarter we managed to beat market consensus. We are now tracking a bonus for the year that is greater than 130\% of the target! Thank you again for your feedback, it helps us to make CyrusOne bigger and better for current and future employees.

I have been working at CyrusOne full-time for less than a year

    Pros

What you get is what you see. I was an intern for CyrusOne for two summers. Both summers I was welcomed in with open arms and given task that would help the company overall. Everyone was really nice to me as an intern. This is what made me want to come back to work as a full time employee. I was partially scared that it would be different as a full time employee but it isn't at all. Everyone is just as welcoming and friendly.

    Cons

It's hard to get a quick response from others in the office.

This is exactly why we take so much pride in our Intern Program! Our goal is to not only inspire and teach future leaders, but also share with them the wonderful culture and opportunity we have at CyrusOne with the hopes that they someday decide to join our team! As you have probably noticed, our work environment is fast paced and our success has certainly got everyone running at full speed. As our core values state, it takes team members to demonstrate %E2%80%9CAgility%E2%80%9D on a regular basis to be successful here. If you are not receiving timely responses, it may be due to someone wearing many hats and delivering on multiple objectives. Don%E2%80%99t be afraid to go to someone directly and find a way to get the results you need. Welcome to the team!

I have been working at CyrusOne

    Pros

    They spend money on toys

    Cons

I can confidently assume that they undercut the market when it comes to offered salaries/wages to "save money", but it's been backfiring for a while as star employees keep leaving for better pay. This causes us to pick up the slack, constantly look for new hires, spend a LOT of money in an effort to train them/ fix honest mistakes made by inexperienced teams, etc. It would not surprise me at all to learn if their business strategy completely overshadows their IT and Ops Strategies which widens the divide between corporate and that people actually doing work. Also, half these reviews look like they were written by a PR team. Very sad.

I have been working at CyrusOne full-time for less than a year

    Pros

It's great to work for a company that values it's employees. From day one, I have felt included, and empowered. The culture is diverse and the HR team does a great job of celebrating our differences. I work with great people and learn something new everyday. The work is fast paced, yet rewarding . The CEO believes in working hard but enables us to have a great work/life balance. Also, the company is growing in people and expanding in business globally which equals bona fide job security. CyrusOne is a great place to work!

    Cons

The open cubicle office space can be a little distracting on a busy day but I usually just pop in my blue tooth headphones and carry on.

I have been working at CyrusOne full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I have been at CyrusOne for nearly two years and I can honestly say that is it is the best organization I have ever been a part of. Everyone has a "winning" attitude that helps us continue to be successful year after year and it makes the workplace really enjoyable. They celebrate diversity, recognize performance, allow the opportunity to be yourself, emphasize community involvement, and give plenty of time to enjoy away from the office. Other perks: 401K with a match, very competitive pay, employee stock purchase plan with a 15% discount, entire week off between Christmas holiday and New Years, and relaxed dress code.

    Cons

With being a somewhat young company, there are certainly learning curves as CyrusOne continues to grow and win at a faster rate than the competition in the industry. The pace can be challenging for some, but for me, it provides an opportunity to stay busy and no day is ever the same. Only other con is that not all of the executives are in the corporate office often.
