Pros
You get to learn and train from the basics. Everyone is super nice and helpful. You can grow within the company very fast. There are lots of women in higher positions and even the CEO is a woman. A great place to start your cyber security path and learn more about AI and Machine Learning.
Cons
None. I guess I love the company and people very much.
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Good compensation, must work for it
Cons
Demanding day to day, but understandable for such a young work force
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
No experience required for a BDR, and no prior sales experience needed for an AE.
Cons
Over work and micro manage employees. No avenue to get better education and move up.

Pros
Darktrace is like the Wild West of sales & cyber security. There will be many opportunities for you to make an incredible amount of money and you really get out what you put in. The technology is very interesting, and it is the perfect opportunity for you to get your feet wet in a booming industry with little to no experience fresh out of college. If you are okay with a high intensity environment, this is the place for you. You are rewarded strongly for your effort and success, and there are little rules or roadblocks in the way to stop you from making good, good money.
Cons
If you do not have any previous sales experience, this role will be nearly impossible. There is an incredibly steep learning curve, and training does not help as much as it needs to. You will be thrown into the fire quickly and without much support, and this is why Darktrace tends to have such a high burnout rate after training, hence some of the 1-2 star reviews I think. If you are not prepared to swim, you will sink quickly as there is not much support for you once in the field. Lean on your coworkers, and find a more experienced rep to lean on for questions/advice. The internal CRM is abysmal and is quite literally it’s own living organism - it will do whatever it wants, shuts down often, and is a pain to navigate. However, when you get used to it it becomes manageable. You WILL be seen as a number and not a name. Management is adamant about numbers. This is a British company, not American. High intensity, high volume, and long hours. You will be expected to perform at your peak but you will be rewarded for it. Don’t be afraid to reach out for help when you need it.

Pros
Asking colleagues for advice was encouraged, and good support from other departments in the event of technical challenges.
Cons
This role supports the sales team, and the sales cycle can feel repetitive.
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★

- Former Employee★★★★★

- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Well thought out sales process
Cons
-misleading commission structure - you will be lied to in the interview -UK culture of asking for your college GPA?? Very weird -expect extreme micromanagement with multiple daily calls and extreme stress if you’re not hitting your insane targets -you’ll see people quit in droves

Pros
None :( genuinely can’t think of any
Cons
Avoid. You’ll make a little money but the expectations are insane and not worth it.
