    Pros

I have been with EBQ for a few years now. The culture and people are great. Thought it would be a boiler room type situation, but it is quite the opposite. They try to create a very open and professional atmosphere. My managers make me feel like they truly care about me and my success. They even sit with me once a week or so to "get in the trenches" and make calls/talk about the product and project strategy. It helps me fell like i am not just a number but part of the companies success. They also provide free training on Friday mornings for sales and marketing positions. Or train you on Salesforce.com and Pardot tools. This is why most promotions are internal

    Cons

the building can be cold one day and hot the next. EBQ doesnt own it the building and doesnt really have control.

    Advice to Management

Would like more one on one time. It is really helpful

I have been working at EBQuickstart (EBQ) full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great pay
    Okay Company Culture
    Educational Support
    Internal Hiring
    8-5

    Cons

Heavily Male, not responsive to complaints about sexism
    No female upper management
    High-Stress work environments
Mandatory Out-of-Work Meetings that are too far from EBQ

    Advice to Management

When an employee is willing to risk their job to bring a complaint up about another employee, don't ignore it. I have been at EBQ a relatively short amount of time, but I have already witnessed multiple instances of upper management ignoring employee concerns. It should be noted that HR is functioning, but the chain-of-command is not. The problem seems to be with particular individuals covering up or downplaying issues to prevent them from reaching an action point.

Lastly, there is no anonymous way to submit a complaint, of any kind. In a company with as many personal relationships as EBQ (Many of the directors are blood related, for example) it can be terrifying to have to risk your own employment to bring up an HR issue. I know of individuals who have been silent about their problems because they feared being targeted for speaking up. We need a way to let HR and upper management know about issues without having to implicate ourselves.

As an aside, the company frequently plans mandatory events outside of the building, but the locations of the events is sometimes very far out of the way for many of the employees. You shouldn't make an event mandatory if you can't get back to EBQ from it at 5 PM traffic in a reasonable amount of time.

    Pros

    good pay and GREAT benefits

    Cons

some management is lacking and takes advantage of their title instead of leading the people they oversee.

It's hard to keep yourself awake in this environment.

    Advice to Management

listen to the specialists when they report issues with team leads/ project managers! retention will be hard to maintain if leadership is lacking.

    Pros

I am learning so much. My business acumen was lacking, to say the least. In the short time I've been working here I've gone from being stressed about my job to being comfortable and getting an awesome compliment from someone that I cold called. This place is FULL of wonderful souls that are kind and helpful. I am so happy in this job. I highly recommend this employer!!

    Cons

We're growing out of our office.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.
