    Incredible work/life balance
Leaders invested in your growth prospects
Competitive salaries and benefits (even for a small company!)
Second to none culture and values instilled from the top down
Executives give you the autonomy to create but are there to support you as well
You feel as though you have meaningful work to do, every day
The company "leads with the heart" and genuinely cares about employees as individuals
    Open door leadership
Free drinks, snacks, meals, company events, etc.
    Company sponsored fitness contests.
This team works extremely well together.

    Cons

There are very few, honestly. As with any company there are challenges with communications. We have a tendency to change course rapidly, so if you not looking for a challenge, this is not for you.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. When the company scales, don't forget what has made this place great!

I have been working at EZShield full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Ezshield is a great place to work. It is a very friendly atmosphere from the top down. I think the benefits are excellent and I can see they are always trying to improve anyway they can. The field of Internet Monitoring and ID Restoration is going to be growing for a long time. The perks are really nice. Stocked kitchen with snacks and drinks. Occasional happy hours and crab feasts. Fairly flexible work schedule. Company picnics and Holiday parties. The work itself is definitely not boring.

    Cons

I have no cons at the moment.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what your doing

    Pros

    Flexible culture; can work remotely

    Cons

Leadership is too scared to make tough decisions. Listens to sales too much when they can't actually sell anything....
Great company for people who only care about a paycheck; bad company for anyone who wants to build a career or make real difference or impact

    Pros

Really nice people are working there

    Cons

Too much emphasis on making shareholders happy and not doing what is right for the long-term success of the company.
Top heavy management (too many chiefs and not enough indians)
Poor business model that relies heavily on the whims of other companies/partners in order to keep them in business
Agile development methodology with no serious QA and a lack of understanding/committment to doing what it takes to develop a better product
Virtually all development was outsourced to India with poor communication in between
Lack of communication between levels of management
Employees afraid to voice their concerns for fear of management repercussions

    Advice to Management

Change your business model to be more in line with directly reaching out to consumers and stop trying to cut corners in order to increase your profit margins and look good with shareholders. Remember, you're a small company and you're already doing too much with what little you have. In the long run, if you destroy your company's morale for the sake of a .05% increase in revenue, was it worth it?

    I worked at EZShield full-time

    Pros

Some bright people and diamonds in and amongst the crazies. Excellent customer service and fulfillment on products. People have balanced lives. The office is empty by 5pm because people go home to their families and their lives outside of the company. There are spurts of work with long hours and travel, but there is flexibility in general to balance work and life. Great benefits package and the programs designed to support, acknowledge and reward people are top-notch.

    Cons

Lacks management vision and leadership. There is no visionary or evangelist for the company and little differentiation from competitors. While the CEO is a good guy, he is the wrong leader for this company at this time. They need a Driver CEO that can inspire and lead. The current CEO is better suited for an established company working in maintenance mode, not one that is trying to figure out it's place in the market and needs a clear vision of what is possible. The personalities, bi-coastal offices and emotional and organizational baggage from what has gone on before has created an incredibly divisive, dysfunctional organization that makes it hard to accomplish tasks and holds the company back from succeeding.

    Advice to Management

Need to find someone who is actually an advocate and visionary in identity management to provide credibility and direction for the company. Doesn't have to be the CEO, just someone that is passionate and knowledgeable that can serve as the EZShield evangelist. At the very least, create more levels and empower those with responsibility. Having everyone as a Director is a joke and devalues the titles and demotivates those that truly are working at a Director level.
