      Great colleagues and great challenges that help stimulate intellectual interests. You operate at massive scale and have plenty of ownership over career choices within Amazon Equipment at work and expense policy allow for stress-free ability to contribute positively to the vibe Managers and higher-level engineers are there for you if you need help, technically, and mentally. People do support you for the most part.

      Cons

      Work life balance is tricky if you don't speak out against it Office space is a WeWork so can feel very claustrophobic at times NYC can feel detached from SEA and other larger offices

      Cons

      Even though I had a bachelor's, I was never considered for management position. Hopefully you live nearby or tolls across the bridge will kill your income.

      Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

      Cons

      You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
