Some processes are peculiar, which to be clear is not a disadvantage it is something you have to be aware of. The interviews are solely based on the Amazon Leadership Principles. It may looks strange and it is a very stressful test. Yet, in this way the company makes sure to hire and develop the best. If you approach Amazon peculiarities with the right mindset you will find them beneficial for your brain agility. Being a worldwide organization, it is sometimes required (but never ordered) to take part to meeting at hours outside your working hours. However it is allowed to compensate such extra hours with some flexibility on the rest of the day/week.
