If your confident, have a backbone and know your stuff, you’ll do more than well. Politics don’t come into play in corporate, but you have to earn every inch for the most part. Only con I can confidently speak on, some people will fly under the radar and abuse the power they have towards vendors and external partners. But overall, I wouldn’t change places.
