Pros
Appirio is a very balanced company and does right by employees and customers. I really believe this company balances all decisions against these two factors and makes both business savvy and employee focused decisions on how to drive the company forward. What Appirio "preaches" it really lives. The people we hire are extremely bright and focused in their respective areas. We make smart hires, we are strategic in how we target customers and we don't have so much overhead that you feel like a 'number'. Appirio offers a great culture, opportunities to be recognized, interesting customers and projects and for a good work/life balance.
Cons
Appirio is in a period of growth so there can be a sense that we are going through a trial-and-error period trying to best determine things like what management looks like as we grow, what does it looks like to keep our culture as we grow bigger, how best do we communicate to a large company etc. For someone who expects everything to be buttoned up, this environment may be frustrating, but for people who are willing to say "let's give it a try" will likely be highly satisfied knowing the company will make adjustments where needed
