Pros

Quick, independent learning? Fast paced not bored

Cons

Seemed like a startup without the leadership wisdom, direction, and team respect that was needed. With that, naively, could have bypassed how much the work will ring you DRY. As smart as you are, as hard working, expect no sense of communion or joy in your job. As well as a continuous, ambiguous blackbox what you’re working toward. Have experienced enough companies, can say this place was the WORST and still haunts me to this day. The people were plain rude. Many have chips on their shoulder because “omg they worked at Amazon” while not holding many other workplaces or seasoned experience outside the bubble. Should lose the ego and listen to some Coaching/Leading podcasts. Longevity is not its strong suite - and maybe something to be learnt - it’s critical to feel a sense of true TEAMMATE-ism, scalable vision, AND SUPPORT for both an individual contributor and manager to dedicate work and/or their time to. Go back to the 101s to understand these concepts.

Pros

Audible is an Amazon company. I think as a whole, this company attracts people who are kind and fun spirited. Good product.

Cons

Disorganisation. Commute can be hard.

Pros

Lots of great collaboration, get to work with a lot of smart people from different backgrounds and Audible/Amazon offers lots of trainings/workshops for new technology. There is always something you can learn!

Cons

Communication needs improvement, lack of career roadmap/leveling for contractors and several recent layoffs (these are specific to contractors)
