Pros

Management focuses on building a strong team and connecting the employees to a common goal, which is what every company should be doing. In a retail field, most of the staffing is unmotivated 18-24 year-olds who are working retail for a reason. Realizing this, Best Buy has tooled their methods for getting them working together, knowledgeable by creating a cooperative but competitive training environment, and setting up their staffing correctly.

Cons

It's retail, so you get all the problems found at every retail store. It's also big business, so you get situations where you can tell Best Buy is going after every dollar it can, and as a non-commissioned sales rep you usually don't feel great about selling the customer on it. Most of the time it's pretty good, but it's not perfect.

Pros

No Need to sell or deal with customers (Much) Constantly moving so you always have a task to do Management leaves you to your own devices Almost all warehouse employees have a set of headphone

Cons

Everyone (Cust & employees) Expect an encyclopedic knowledge on where every single item is. Management seems to think we can lift a 85" tv, pull a washer off the top shelf, stock gaming shelves, and handle store pick up at the same moment. Customers think we don't want to help them when we call someone else to help with sales There's almost too much to do and even though we may have 1-3 employees working at a time, 1 is at the door, 1 is behind store pick up, which leaves 1 employee to handle new orders, deliveries, and down stocking.
