Pros

It is probably the best job for a student in high school because it pays well and it does not involve any manual labor. If you are not planning on attending college, or want to dedicate your time more to work than to school they provide pretty good career opportunities to move up in the company. You will be rewared for working hard, but you also need to make sure to let others now that you are noticed. Also, if you are into electronic and purchase them frequently the employee discount is very much worth it, particularly on things like televisions and any accessory you can imagine.

Cons

The customers will expect too much, or they will want that really cheap item in the ad so you just have to deal with that. It is mostly just that the store is either dead or swarmed, and there are very few days where it is perfectly balanced so you just have one customer to deal with. In addition, if you speak two languages in a multilingual area, you will be exploited by management for no additional compensation to sell to people who not only speak your language but similar lanuages as well. There should be more money provided fo such skills.

Pros

-It's a job that is available in most locations.

Cons

-The company, on a corporate level, doesn't seem to grasp the value of the talent they have. - Close ties with Citibank subvert the importance of product knowledge, customer service, and revenue for credit card sales. - Daily Performance check-ins are overbearing and myopic. - Tends to burnout motivated employees with false carrots and hollow promises. - Pay's terrible, and rides the line of predatory at times.
