Pros
Large company with a lot of stability. A lot of different departments and easy transfer interdepartmentally. Very organized in terms of work, etc. People are very nice and easy-going and are easy to work with (for the most part). Generous vacation days are granted, and people are open to flex work schedules, working from home, etc. Training is available for most large departments, and the orientaion is very detailed and helpful. Fridays are casual days, as well as other times of year (Employee Appreciation Week in October and week between Christmas and New Years is too). All the benefits from working at a large firm are there.
Cons
Bureacracy. There are rules and they are always used to avoid having to do the right thing. If there is not enough work, you have to stay at least 8 hours a day. If there's too much work, you have to stay nights and weekend. People below a director or VP level can only get promoted once every two years, no matter how hard they work or how much they've accomplished, and each promotion can only bring a 6% bump in salary. There is virtually no feedback, and even the supposedly mandatory annual review is often missed by various managers.
