Pros
Variety of patient interactions. Very dynamic Provider/patient interactions.
Cons
Horrible pay for the variety of roles a Provider has to perform. From office supply ordering to cleaning lady, you’ll be expected to do the role of at least 8 different professionals in addition to the high expectations of your performance as a Provider. Management is extremely harsh, they see you strictly as a number and a licensed body to staff the Clinics, no one cares about you personally or even knows who you are. Lack of supportive staff and the expectation to deliver care as if in a Primary care setting, but seldom a nurse is staffed with the Provider, so you better know what they promise is a LIE!! You will be mostly working BY YOURSELF!! Your PTO requests will not be approved most of the time, and you will be expected to take calls (you will be called in every time because it’s a revolving door), so say goodbye to work-life balance. They have ruined Minute Clinic as a place to work. Respect yourself as a professional and walk away before you get trapped into this HELL HOLE!!
