Pros

You can get creative with how you sell a phone and the extra products that come with it. It take maybe 3-6 months to learn the systems, but once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze. There's support channels for everything, even if you think you got yourself in a unique situation. Everyone works between 36-40 hours, and everyone participates in making their own schedule every month. Company uses a draw system, meaning you get paid hourly but you have to be conscious of that and make more in commission than your hourly rate. Its not hard, unless you really weren't trying. It's a sales environment, so you're surrounded by competition which (for me) makes working for Cellular Sales fun. Overall, my experience was positive.

Cons

There's no PTO and no overtime. You can request to be off, but you have to make sure you can also get it covered. System issues are a thing every single day, and they happen when you least expect them to. Sometimes support channels are not helpful, so you have to spend more time trying to find a solution for the customer. Some customer scenarios can keep you stuck fixing their issue all day, which drains you by the end of your shift. There will be multiple times when a customer calls on your day off, and you have to choose whether you want to answer or have the sale go to someone else.
