Pros
This job has allowed me to be in a position where I feel financially stable, happy, and eager to go to work. I do believe you have to give your best effort to really succeed here. I’ve been working for this company for over a year and I enjoy the day to day. The culture is great in the WA market.
Cons
I feel sometimes the work can feel like it follows you home/ days off. But, if you stay organized and on top of things then you’ll be fine.

Great culture with a high earning potential
May 16, 2023 - Sales Representative in Cincinnati, OHRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good workplace environment. Flexible schedule if you can make it work around your personal schedule. Great opportunity to develop sales skills especially for someone without a degree.
Cons
Schedule can be unpredictable. Hard to plan your time very far in advance.

100% Commission, Don't Trust the Pay Scales
May 16, 2023 - Wireless Sales Consultant in Cullman, ALRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Profit per device sold is incredible and likely the best in industry. Great coworkers and decent store manager/team lead. Very competitive culture but not overly toxic competition. Flexible schedule is achievable by swapping shifts/picking up from other reps. High traffic areas had reps earning 80k+
Cons
You will have to sell some products and services (verizon visa card, insurance, etc.) that make a lot per each sold, but aren't really a great decision for the customer, which can lead to some customer resentment. You will miss out on comms if you are stuck helping a customer instead of selling. This encourages reps to skimp out on helping people with advanced devices, especially the elderly, in favor of making more money. HOWEVER, if the customer is not satisfied with your help in any way and decides to leave a nasty review, you will be in the line of fire with management. In rural/low traffic markets, you will be forced to use tactics that the top 10% of reps use just to survive. It makes you a better salesperson, but the rewards are not as plentiful. I made 54k gross my first year and 32k the second because I worked in a low traffic area (my hometown.) You also will need to drink the koolaid a fair bit to even think about getting anywhere on the ladder, but keep in mind that if you are a hunter who needs to be pulled back some, you will probably be okay vs a gatherer that needs a little push here and there. You will be expected to push a high profit device on every person that enters, including people that cannot afford it.

Decent opportunity
Apr 19, 2023 - Sales Associate in Jacksonville, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Constant opportunity for financial growth. Reasonable schedule if you can “swap” your schedule with other reps. Great environment and rotating locations make the job fresh.
Cons
If unable to swap your shift there is ZERO pto. The expectation is for you to be there. Legit very few reasons they will ultimately accept although they will try to help. 100% commission so if you don’t sell anything (even if the customer has a new phone or they are just not needing a new phone) you will not make money. The draw system could cause you to lose money in a day… Metrics attainable but can be inconsistent and not realistic.

Run for the hills
May 20, 2023 - Wireless Sales Consultant in Greenville, SCRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
If you are willing to slam people into crappy android phones you will make money.
Cons
This place has the highest turnover rate imaginable. Always working with different people. No one lasts long as it is 100 percent commission job trying to sell Cell phones that pay $22 and then are shared with everyone working that day. You are better off with a real sales job. Heck, you could probably go to chick fil an and have less stress.

Pros
-Fun environment with alot of downtime.
Cons
-Company regularly shifts metrics, making it harder to make money. -Benefits are almost nonexistent. What is present is very expensive compared to other companies -If items go missing or paperwork does not hit customer account correctly (expensive phones, accessories, etc.) you have to pay for it yourself. -If you get sick, you are still responsible for getting your shift covered, no PTO

Opportunity for Income, Experience, and Skills Development
Feb 7, 2023 - Wireless Sales ConsultantRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Definitely takes some active training - There is a good opportunity to grow yourself personally, and professionally. It isn't a "passive" sales rep. position. You are in-store, and have walk-in's, but you are definitely expected to generate continuous business and convert "customer service" situations into sales.
Cons
There could be more in-person training/ events/ summits for the employees. The commission structure is fair, but the base-pay is less than desirable. Realistically, you won't see anything impressive from sitting back at your desk and waiting on deals, but if you're willing to step out of your comfort zone then there is plenty of room to grow.
