Pros
I had 5 weeks vacation. Somewhat flexible time for field technicians.
Cons
Constantly asking for more certs. Learn more customers standards. Went from simple hardware replacements to traveling desktop support. Started off as anyone out of high school could do. Now it's a high end job as if you need to be a system administrator. But at a grunts pay. Things were great until I received a 4.25/hr paycut in Oct 2012. Back then we did the same 10 calls. Replace a printer, keyboard or monitor, hdd system b oard and reimage pcs. Then after the paycut the demands went thru the roof. My head was ready to explode. Way to many customers and processes that you see to little of to get good at. No raises, not even cost of living.I did not even get all my back pay after leaving. I'll say this. If you are desperate take the job. Don't expect anything. Don't suck up or go out of your way. It's a sinking ship
