CompuCom's new headquarters was built to express our vision of the digital workplace, leveraging technology and innovation to drive collaboration, productivity and operational efficiency. As one of the first buildings of its kind, the 151,000-square-foot campus is exclusively powered by Power-over-Ethernet. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQpeS
“We created Managed IT as a Service to give SMBs access to the same IT support and protection that larger companies have, but tailored to their needs and at a price point they can afford,” CompuCom Chief Product and Marketing Officer Ken Jackowitz. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQJvw

Our IT Professionals
We have openings across the spectrum of IT whether skills and interests lead to systems administration, support, facilities, service desk analyst, infrastructure architect, or developer, all in support of our own operations or those of our clients who are 57 of the Fortune 100. We have a number of technician positions in many areas as well. Job roles can also move into management and senior positions as well as jobs outside of IT, including finance, human resources, sales, and accounts.
Value means having choices that meet your needs not those of your service provider. Supporting your global workforce requires attention to local values, language, and cultural preferences and practices, as well as to the business-specific complexities surrounding outsourcing.
We operate in the US, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and India. For IT services that require local delivery, we partner with IT service leaders around the world to make certain you receive services where, when, and how you need them. Our global governance model provides you with streamlined program management, interfaces, accountability and reporting for all facets of service delivery.
CompuCom maintains key business alliances with a select number of global IT service providers. These relationships offer the ability to assemble the right mix of near-shore, offshore, on-site, and remote services to ensure that we are able to meet your requirements no matter where your employees are located.
The benefits of our alliance model include:

All employment decisions, including recruitment, placement, transfer, promotion, training, compensation are made without regard to these factors.
CompuCom is passionate about supporting the communities in which we live and work. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life in these communities by fostering volunteer efforts in national organizations, promoting sustainability programs at all of our corporate location, and supporting international human rights principles.

PlanIT CompuCom Sustainability Initiative
CompuCom is committed to improving the world we live in through our “PlanIT CompuCom” initiative. We’ve developed a dedicated program to promote the development and implementation of green projects for our organization, clients and associates – We empower associates to make a change in their professional and personal lives.
PlanIT CompuCom fosters a culture of eco-conscious policies and provides the training for Green-living. Our focus is on initiatives that reduce the consumption of fuel, electricity, and paper materials and ultimately reduce the combined carbon footprint of CompuCom and our clients.
Optimized Field Dispatch – We optimize the deployment of our field dispatch teams to make certain that we limit miles driven to what is absolutely necessary. In addition, we manage the number of dispatches needed by using self-service, self-healing, and remote support options prior to any dispatch being initiated.
Optimizing Product Shipments – We analyze each shipment to determine the best approach from a carrier standpoint to meet the clients’ specific need, while balancing delivery time and carrier transit times, reducing transportation emissions and costs.
I have been working at CompuCom full-time (More than 8 years)
The Company has had its pro's and cons. For most of the last two years, the cons have outweighed the pros in a big way. However, despite the best intentions the former CEO and his team could not find a way to really change the downward spiral. This downtrend coupled with a pervasive culture of fear that was overlaid on a top-down lockout on information led to a place that people dreaded to come to work.
Many of the reviews below are accurate, however, while accurate they are also wrong as the company sits today.
Today CompuCom is finding its way back. The New President, Greg Hoogerland is that rare find in the executive office. A smart, analytical business man who not only cares about the people who work for him but also seems to understand that the greatest asset his company has is the people who work for him. In just at two months at the helm, the culture of the company has made a u-turn. Gone is the manage by fear and “they are just lucky they have jobs” totalitarian regime, it has been replaced with an environment where people feel empowered to be part of the solution, where collectively we are driving to find the right solutions to return CompuCom to its former glory.
There is still a lot of damage to fix and fundamentally the business still needs to change to meet the demands of the new digital marketplace we reside in. The difference is that we, the employees of the company now see there is a path forward. We can transform and become a company that not only survives into the future but one that leads the charge and sets the standard for what that future looks like.
Thank you, Greg, you did something that 4 months ago I would have thought imposable. You restored faith in a company many thoughts was a “dead man” walking. There are more hard days ahead but we, your associates, are with you, we have your back and we will succeed together.
If you’re looking for a job, take one at CompuCom. This place is going to be special again and you will want to be part of it.
The Company is Transforming to be relevant in the modern IT world. While not a con per say it does make challenging as the transformation causes ripples throughout the company. Benefits are poor as well but there is hope that may change.
Advice to Management
Continue the push to be open with your teams. Don't give up on new ideas to fast and above all give people a reason to want to be here. An employee who is unfulfilled will leave and take their skills, ideas, and experience somewhere else.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at CompuCom (Austin, TX) in November 2017.
Applied online then received a follow up email to request and over the phone interview with a recruiter. Once that was completed an in person interview was set up to meet District manger and other current Solutions Advisor. Once I accepted the offer I had to call to find out the start date.
