Pros

Is based in a right to work state. Still hiring (but at lower than industry average wages for Collections and Credit Division).

Cons

CEO is a Micro Manager. Berated ENTIRE employee base by e-mail in the State of Texas for not showing up during an ice storm and then stated by e-mail "The news media did make a big deal of the weather as they always sensationalize the story." YUP, blamed it on the media! I might also add that the CEO stated that he "personally drove into the office" during the ice storm. Yeah! He personally drove in all by himself! No driver or anything ! Our fine CEO then stated that we "Chose to take PTO without prior approval" during the ice storm. (The State did not give us permission! We chose safety over work!)

Thanks for writing this. It is unfortunate that you feel the need to write a comment in a public forum rather than raise your concerns directly. Real leaders raise concerns directly and openly and work through them. The facts are the inclement weather team made the decision at 5:30 a.m. that the offices were open and it was BAU (I am not on the team). I never ask anyone to do anything I won't do myself. I did drive myself to work as I always do. I welcome the feedback but please try to get the facts straight in the future.
