I went to school just so I could work at great clips. I even extern at one and right out of school I applied. I wasn't the best at hair cutting at first, but I got really good. I had zero client complaints. I never got talked to or written up. Had one tiny altercation with a stylist about shampoo, and got pulled into the office and fired. this same girl they had fired than rehired because they were short staff. Even though I was never spoken too about my attitude. They literally said they were letting me go because of my negative attitude in the salon. I have been working for over 25 years now, not once have I ever been fired or written up for my attitude. This was a bunch of bully words. I am so deeply sad. I was stunned. How are you going to list that you help people grow and care about their staff but than fire them like it was nothing. to be honest I think they didn't want to work with me after they found out I had work restrictions. so they came up with other reasons. The manager never told the general manager about my restrictions, until she came in last week. You could tell the manager looked stunned and unhappy I had it. now less than a week later am fired.
