Pros

You made an hourly wage and the customers were provided for you. Tips were all yours too.

Cons

Haircuts had to be at least 13 to 15 min even though the guideline was 14 to 17 min. You were damned if you did and damned if you don't. Had to always watch payroll but if you sent someone home early and then got a rush you would get in trouble. Main problem was a GM who didn't know what they were doing . They did not set the example that they themselfs expected of you. Unrealistic expectations. Favored certain employees over others. They rewarded you for product sales but not great customer returns. Very mixed up in what was important for the buisness.

Pros

Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

Cons

Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
