Pros

The franchise owner I worked for offered 50 cents extra per hour if I worked until close in the evening and on weekends and all day for working on Sunday, all the other franchisers don't offer that. This particular franchise over also paid 10% commission on product sales. Franchise owner I am talking about is Cuatro Clippers.

Cons

When I left the organization the owners and managers were forcing the stylists to push product sales on every customer. It was to the point where a customer would sit down in the cutting chair and as I would begin to say how are you, the customer would say, "I have no intentions of buying any product today". It was embarrassing.

Pros

Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

Cons

Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
