Constant stream of customers means more tips. You will, by repetition, learn how to do a men's fade. At least one of your coworkers will be a friend..maybe.
Cons
Cons? How much time ya got? You will never hear a thank you! You will hurt from head to toe when its around the holidays, back to school and God forbid "the great haircut sale"! The so-called bonuses are a joke! You will have to do 5 haircuts an hour to earn and extra 50 cents, which is doable if you do buzz cuts all day but throw a couple A-lines or long layer, face frame into your day and there goes your "productivity". Everyone pays the same...the buzz that takes 6 min and the lady with hair down her back that hasn't brushed her hair in days and takes you over 30 min ... all $14.00! So tip will probably be around 3 bucks... be grateful for $5! I could go on but im too happy to be out of that place! Good luck
