Pros

Can be okay money. A lot of staff has been there for a long time, not for crappy hourly pay, but because choosing the right location can mean a lot of tips!

Cons

I went to a manager meeting where corporate suggested we get on glassdoor now and leave a positive review for recruiting. Not an honest review, but a positive. Owners are different, mine pick and choose who will succeed. They throw stylists into management with just minimal training without letting it be known what their expectations are, then blame the manager for EVERYTHING! Their communication is waaaay jacked up.

Pros

Great co-workers, good tips, generally busy, clientele overall friendly, management is super cool and will try to be as flexible as possible with your schedule.

Cons

Working evenings and weekends, but that is salon life.

Pros

Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

Cons

Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
