Pros

Meet some good people. You get to look at aircrafts and learn different things when you ask questions. Good work life balance. Overtime is offered on weekends, if you choose to partake.

Cons

Pay is not great for what is expected of you, and for everything you deal with, The company doesn't seem to offer programs to earn certs for some reason; so ultimately, workers in low paying positions feel stuck. Seems to be a popularity contest regarding professional growth, if there's a desire to move up the ladder, then you must put yourself in position to be a "yes" man to everyone you come in contact with. The company doesn't really help build the moral of their employees, they leave that to the employees to do individually; I was literally told by an acting manager that "we have to keep our moral up at work," which was very unfortunate to hear. Take nothing at face value here, they change plans like changing underwear, nothing seems to be set in stone; too much talk about something and no real action. They sold me a pretty picture when applying, "We're looking for people who want to have long careers here..." Sure, if you have a few years to spare before making decent money, for instance, being a dispatcher for over 5 - 10 years before becoming a planner, not ideal at all. This places has a gold medal in playing the "blame game," it doesn't take long for anyone to throw you under the bus, and they hand work off to the next person because they don't want to deal with it. Lack of recognition and acknowledgement, and when it is give, it's very "corporate" dry and not genuine.

Pros

PTO policy is pretty straight forward and a decent amount of time. If you’re right out of high school or your only desire is to turn wrenches you’re entire life, this place is for you. Three day weekends.

Cons

There is no mobility. They can’t find mechanics so if you are one, they will keep you there at all costs. They fully rely on the good old boy system. The people that are in management positions, especially at West Palm, do not care about anything other than staying where they are and using what little power they think they have. Management is very customer focused but forget their employees. Health benefits are seriously lacking.
