Pros
You start off with a livable pay rate. Even if it’s fake, they make you FEEL like they care about your work experience in the beginning. And if life allows, the 5 unpaid days that you can take off, you can use those for your short lived mental break and take a little vacation.
Cons
The attendance policy could use work to make agents feel like they’re actually respected and cared for at least a smidge. Either add more than the 3 hours per pay period for PTO or at the very least allow unpaid vacation days because people don’t feel like they’re in an environment that prioritizes their mental health or actual work experience. You can try to paint things a positively as you’d like with the way they stand but at the end of the day, it’s an annoying, stressful, repetitive job that no one does because they like. It’s something to make a living until something better comes along so, might as well give people more of a reason to stay. Thanks for the $1 raise but, we all need a break. Not the just the upper management or people who aren’t even on the phones as often. Everyone needs a mental break from the horrid repetition and bad attitudes we have to deal with on a daily basis.
