Cons

Bureaucracy and too much office politics. You have to watch your back as there is always someone ready and willing to put a knife in it. Management has a particular type of person they want, and if you fall outside that mold you'll have trouble. They particularly want people who are yes-men and don't create issues by pointing out problems and pushing for the best possible solution.

Great organization to grow professionally in healthcare operations. Strong focus on patient care, quality, innovation, and leadership development. I’ve gained valuable experience in physician support, operations, workflow improvement, and cross-functional collaboration while working with talented teams and leaders.

Cons

Fast-paced environment with high expectations and increasing responsibilities. At times, leadership roles can feel under-titled compared to the level of operational work being performed. Work-life balance can also be challenging during staffing shortages, major initiatives, or clinic transitions.
