Pros
- Good training materials - Good pay starting out
Cons
- Expectations are too high to maintain. After training, there is no one to really help you. If you fail to ramp up fast, they will fire you. - Meetings are everyday. That’s excessive. - Metrics aren’t reasonable. Proof? The turnover rate is high for most beginner recruiters. They either get fired, leave for another job, or transition into another position within a year. Not many people stay as a recruiter. - The bonus/Commission structure is misleading. - It’s expected for you to source after hours and even on weekends. That’s no work/life balance.
