Pros

stable work environment in an unstable economy Good benefits Great if you have a family Opportunity for advancement FT non hourly employees receive 1.25 days off per month for the first 5 years- that equates to 3 weeks off per year starting one month after hire.

Cons

training isn't done well. To long and too broad not enough training that is useful. Management looks to a select few of your peers to make decisions for them If you don't have kids your needs come second Advancement not necessarily based on merit- more based on how well you get along with your supervisor.- Some people who advance are not qualified to do the new positions The expectation is to over communicate to everyone. Feedback comes only at select times of the year/ your work cycle unless you have done something TERRIBLY wrong. So it is difficult to make improvements until you are made aware of areas others think you have room for improvement in.

Pros

None. I was hired to be a person that restocks and cleans, they saw I was able to ring up and put me as a cashier.

Cons

Very little pay, terrible training, horrible management and some terrible customers. Disgusting location also, I went to a manager about toilet paper out in the women restroom, he told me it was a morning task. It was 7pm, the store closed at 11pm! Also CASHIERS ARE LYING YO CUSTOMERS TO GET THEM TO OPEN CREDIT CARDS! Shady stuff I heard as a cashier. Also during my interview no one showed up, when I called the manager made it seem like I was bugging her for my interview
