Kohl's is a nice place to work if you are just looking for something temporary or have a financial emergency.
Cons
if you have goals of staying for over a year get ready for a lot of overworking. If you are a reliable worker, lots of work will be thrown at you and your reward will not increase unless you are promoted, which requires that you kiss up to management. Horrible holiday hours, no time off for part-time workers, which means you find a substitute for your shift or take "points" on your record. Gather enough and you will be fired. Overall, Kohl's is filled with condescending management, poor incentives like "bigger" discounts on their items, not including name-brand clothing, etc. The juice is certainly not worth the squeeze, several nights of hard work will be rewarded with dust, the pay is extremely low, compensation is low, but you get lots and lots of work. Please, if you have higher qualifications, go higher, reach for a more prestigious position somewhere that is not Kohl's.
